Due to Royal Cremation Ceremony, the Grand Palace is closed from 30 September 2017 to 29 October 2017. The tour will be resumed on 30 October 2017 when Grand Palace re-opens.
 

ITINERARY

Pick up at your hotel - Visit the Royal Grand Palace, one of the most important landmarks in Bangkok built in 1782. Explore the magnificent Wat Phra Kaew, Thailand’s most sacred temple with the revered Emerald Buddha, and other key attractions such as the Coronation Throne Hall, Royal Reception Hall, Royal Funeral Hall, the Golden Chedi, and the Royal Pantheon.

Duration: 3-4 hours

  • Pick up and drop off at the hotel in Bangkok city center only
  • Sightseeing as described with transportation
  • English-speaking guide
  • Entrance fees


General Pick up Area / Road:

  • Asoke, Charoen Krung Road Soi 1-50, Chidlom, Chinatown, Pathumwan. Phayathai, Ploenchit, Pomprab, Pratunam, Petchburi Road from Soi 1 to Avani Atrium, Phranakorn, Silom, Sathorn, Siam Square, Sukhumvit Soi 1-33 and Soi 2-24.
  • Pick up at the lobby of your hotel.  If your hotel is out of route, a meeting point will be suggested

Dress Code for Grand Palace - Unsuitable clothes are

  • Short trousers (long trousers must reach the ankles), mini skirts, culottes, tights and fisherman trousers.
  • Sleeveless shirts and undershirts as outer garments
  • Rolled up shirt sleeves, whether long or short
  • Sleeping suits, see-through clothes, bare shoulders
  • Sportwears
  • Sandles (including every type of shoes without heel straps or closed heels), except Buddhist Monks, novices and Thai People from countryside)

Visitors who dressed as mentioned above can borrow free clothes and shoes at the Grand Palace's changing room. 
 

Remark:

  • Visitors wearing shorts, sandals or T-shirts are not permitted entry.


Important Note:

  • According to Thailand travel industry normal practice, there is a mandatory visit to Gems Factory or some shopping facilities for joined tour and optional visit for private.
