The hotel is in a good location on Klong Dao beach with lots of options for sightseeing, tours, eating and drinking.
It is very family focused and the staff were very accommodating.
The breakfast is ordinary and the food overall could use improvement but there are other options available.
We stayed in the family house and were very comfortable.
There is currently construction of a new building underway and they work 7 days a week from sun up to sun down, this should be considered but there is development happening all over Koh Lanta.
Overall a good holiday location. |

The Mariott was such a beautiful hotel in a magnificant setting. The free shuttle boat took us right to the skytrain, and it was only 300 baht to the airport (very early in the morning). The food was excellent. I will stay at this hotel whenever I return to Bangkok |

Everything went as arranged except, and a big except for the transfer from the airport to the Mariott on November 3rd. Airport personnel told us to exit the airport at the individual (not tour) exit. The agent was nowhere to be seen. We were then taken by a tour representative to a room at the end of the airport where we were told to wait. After an hour we finally got someone to call your office. It took another hour before the man picked us up. He then made us walk, with all our luggage to the other end of the airport where he had parked his car. The service was $22 while the taxi ride was only 300-400 baht (up to $10). This was a terrible start to our stay in Bangkok There seems no place to commend the guide and driver in Cambodia. They were wonderful, very sensitive to our needs, and went out of their way to accomodate us. I recomend them both very highly. |

The beach as not as in the pictures. I expected the beach to be whiter with fruit trees in it, like in the Inlandes.
You have to tame a taxi to out if the hotel.
The city is OK aspeacelly at night.
We did elefent trip and the kids loved it.
Generl the people were very worm and we liked it.
Shooping was better in Bangkok. |
