Very good value for money. Good rooms at the price. Very poor F&B. Comprehension level of the staff was not good though they did endeavour to be as helpful as they could. |

Sorry for some delay in responding. After our time in Cambodia we continued to travel in other countries and have only recently returned to the US. Our stay at the Angkor Village Resort was one of the highlights of our entire trip. The facility itself was first-rate, and the pool was particularly refreshing after a long day of touring the ruins. The food was excellent. Most important to mention however is the fabulous staff. As my wife noted to me, they always smiled before we did! They were always prompt in asking if we had a good day, and if there was anything they could do for us. It is obvious that they have been well-trained and conscientiously and pleasantly perform every task. We also want to mention our guide, Mr. Proan (or Soproan) and his driver Mr. Tong. Mr. Proan was also a highlight of our travels. He was very knowledgable, spoke English well and clearly, and was most informative about the area and Cambodia's history. We have already recommended the Angkor Village Resort, and Mr. Proan, to our friends who may be coming to Cambodia this summer. We give the entire experience our highest rating! David & Meg Lass |
