When we initially checked in we were given a room that was next to renovations taking place. The noise was excessive and loud and would go on from 10 in the moring til 5 in the afternoon. We had to call reception 3 times before someone would aknowledge us.
The next day i called again 3 times until I requested to speak with the manager, whom then moved us to the next level away from the workman.
I found some staff to be rude and not very interested in helping the customer.
On checking out, we were shocked to find that we were charged almost 260 baht for international call that lasted only a minute. Thats almost ten dollars Australian a minute and when we asked them why, thet said it wa a minimum charge.
the hotel should inform the customers of these charges beforehand. |

Hotel is overall very new and the room is larger than other same rating's hotels. However, the bathroom is not as good design as those same rating's hotel.
The breakfast is acceptable, but the restaurants which serves luxury foods are too high class which seem not target at hotel guests.
The facilities like swimming pool and health club are extremely nice, even to compare with some 5 star hotels. |

The Anantara at Hua Hin is a fantasic place to go if you want to relax in peace and quiet and by looked after. The facilities and first class and the hotel is easy to get to from Bangkok. We throughly enjoyed our third time back to Anantara. |
