I would especially commend the staff for beeing friendly and incredibly helpfull and polite. We were also impressed with the standards of service and cleanliness.
Another great feature of this hotel is the private beach. We are veteran visitors to Thailand, and usually avoid the beaches because of the never ending stream of touts selling their wares.
Our only negative was the beach bar. We usually enjoy a drink on the beech between 4 and 6 pm, but this bar has a very late happy hour of 5:30 to 7pm. Also, the staff there are a little slow and dont pay attention when a customer is waiting to be served, even if they are the only one at the bar. A little music would perhaps bring a few more people in.
This is a minor criticism, and we would not hesitate to return in the future, or to reccoment it to friends. |

Ticking all of the excellent boxes pretty much cover it. One thing I would have liked was a contact telephone number on the confirmation. We booked a return transfer, and were not advised of a collection time for the return. I looked on the website for the number, called Ms Nicky, and she had the local transport company, who in turn called me back immediately.

I was travelling alone, and the staff was so helpful. they went out of their way to ensure that I had a nice visit in Calcutta, and to connect me with my tour group which arrived several days later. Plus, connecting with their car at the airport was easy, and the drive very easy at 2 in the morning. |
