GOOD AND CLEAN PLACE, FRIENDLY PEOPLE.
PEOPLE DRIVING BY OWN CAR WILL HAVE PARKING PROBLEMS. THE HOTEL DOES NOT HAVE OWN PARKING. NEED TO FIND A PLACE IN THE ROAD IN FRONT OF THE HOTEL.
OTHERWISE WE HADE A PRETTY GOOD TIME. |

There was only minor damage to the Krabi Resort from the tsunami, and everything has been repaired. Staff are very helpful and friendly, and the location in Ao Nang allows you to walk to many restaurants and shops. |

I was very happy with the service at the Sofitel Silom, the staff were great and very friendly. I have only two concerns about the hotel. First. We asked for a non smoking room with a double bed. The room they gave was smoking and you could really smell the smoke. Unfortuately there was no other non smoking rooms with a double bed, so we just took the room as it was our honeymoon. Second On the floor that we stayed on when any of your neighbours took a shower or bath, the water preasure in the pipes sounded like there was Hurricane right in the walls. Needless to say, this did keep us the first night we stayed here. As we only had one more night and really nothing could be done about we just sucked it up as the staff said this was the only double bed left in the whole hotel when we checked in.
All in all it is a very beautiful hotel, just don't get stuck on a smoking floor if you don't smoke and two make sure the plumbing your floor is Okay |
