Thipurai City Hotel is centrally located near the restaurants and bars, but is on a small street and it's actually quiet.
The dining room area is large and bright and has tables out on the street, which is nice. Good lobby with helpful staff.
The rooms are well furnished and clean and I appreciated the small balcony for drying things. I slept very well in this hotel.
The pool is rather small and the sunbeds around it cramped. There are more sunbeds up on the roof and this is a good place for sunbathing.
I liked the breakfast; I'd stay here again. I wanted to extend one more night, but couldn't as it was fully booked. The rack rate was more expensive than I'd paid this agency.

I had been trying to book my hotels with another agency (thaihotels.com), but the replies were all computer generated, saying my choice was fully booked and please try again.
I could not get contact with a person, just a computer reply. Time was very short and I was worried as it was Chinese New Year, but by
chance I got into email contact with Ms Thip who gave me a speedy and individual service; Paying by visa and faxing the credit card details worked well + being able to print out my
own voucher.
I also liked the hotels she gave me (Royal Hotel,Bangkok and Thipurai city, Hua Hin)
and your prices are cheaper than the rack rate. Thanks a lot!

hallo, we are not satisfacted with this hotel .... it was ugly, dirty and the room was not cleaned during our stay. another problem is, that the stuff spoke a very bad english and understood hardly a word.
for example breakfast normaly start at 7.30 ! and we had an appointment at 7.45 for diving. it was not possible to start breakfast at 7.15 although the breakfast was ready at this time....

I will return to Thailand surely next year in march. We want to Know de Golden Triangle and Ko Samui, also Hong Kong and if it is plossible to fly by Malaysian Airlines, Kuala Lumpur.
I hope you will have spanish speaking guides next year please. Mi first time in BKK I reserved in Argentina because my city tours were in spanish. guide.
Thank you very much Nicky for all services. All Transfers were excelents all at time and the reservations y all hotels were ok.
We have one problen in Phi Phi:: The room booked was horrible bad very bad, I changed to the other hotel Araya Buri and I payed 1000Bth x night, but the room was excellent, very comfortable clean and new. No recomended the rooms standard Phi Phi view resort, not GOOOD.
The Ochid Resort very comfortable the family room booked. Excelent ubication and services.
I havent any words for the Marriot resort and Spa. It was nicely, excelent. I think its no recomendable for the tourist arrived for first time in BKK. My first stais was in Holiday Inn Silom and this ubiction was exclellent.. but the Marriot was tranquil atmosphere and I and my family enjoy too muchs alls intalation , but remember knew BKK first time.
The recomendatrion its very good for relax.

Nice rooms, nice location, but new management is not very good it seems. sometimes power cuts, problems getting water pumped. Electrical wiring very adventurous. Cleaning of rooms and deck not very thorough. Breakfast quite bad, with bad service. When we left we were told we would be brought to ferry pier by boat and we waited for it to show up but were told last minute we had to walk - we could have missed the ferry if we had not asked again.
Nevertheless, all in all not a bad place and we would go again. |
