Geography
Phuket is the largest island in Thailand, situated on
the western coast under the territorial waters of Andaman Sea in Indian
Ocean. The total superficies is 543 square kilometers; it is about the
same size to Singapore. The widest part, measured from the East end to
the West end is 21.3 km., the longest part from the North end to the
South end is 48.7 km. It is administratively divided in to 3 districts:
