to Phuket from Bangkok
By Road
By bus: Buses daily leave from Bangkok's
Southern Bus Terminal; the journey takes about 14 hours. You will be
brought directly to Phuket town from where you can take a local bus to
beaches on the island.
By car: Take the Route 4 from Bangkok to the
South, passing through Nakhon Pathom, Ratchburi, Prachuap-Khirikhan ,
Chumphon, Ranong, Phang-Nga, and cross the "Sarasin Bridge" to
go to downtown Phuket. The distance is 862 km long.
By Train
There is no train commuting directly to Phuket. From
Hua Lamphong Station in Bangkok, you should drop off in Surathani and
take a bus from there to Phuket.
By Plane
Daily flights leaving are offered at Thai Bangkok
Airways; it takes only 25 minutes, directly to Phuket International
Airport.
