Ban Raya Resort & Spa is a resort on the island of Racha Yai which is situated 12 nm south of Phuket island on the south west coast of Thailand. Racha Yai is a beautiful unspoiled and unsophisticated Island. The ideal place to get away from it. There are no roads and hence no traffic. It is a small island so walking is easy and enjoyable.

Ban Raya Resort & Spa consists of 60 acres on the south east corner of the island. The resort sits on a headland and the property streaches down to two bays. The first Ao Konkare has some of the best diving and snorkeling in the region and the other, Ao Tue, has beautiful white sands and shallow safe water for swimming and snorkeling.

Ao Tue also has safe sheltered moorings in the green season when the popular west coast bay, Ao Paktok, tends to be exposed to the south west monsoon.
