Velavaru, opened in December 1998, is an averaged sized island by Maldivian standards and is approximately 500m in length by 200 m wide, is the second resort in the Dhaalu Atoll.The buildings on Velavaru blend in with the thick local vegetation and coconut palms creating the relaxed environment of the Maldives.
