A choice of two types of holiday accommodation are offered at the Cottage Club, either one of the 30 beach bungalows or 20 water bungalows. It all depends on whether you' re a water lover or a land lover. Whichever your preference, though, you are guaranteed the highest standards of care and comfort so that your stay at the Cottage Club will be a memorable one.
All the rooms at Kuramathi Cottager & Spa are fully air conditioned, and for those who prefer more natural temperatures, ceiling fans are also installed in all the rooms. A mini bar, and tea and coffee making facilities are also standard, along with hair dryers, IDD phones and piped music.
These octagonal water bungalows are set in a truly stunning location, stretched out across an aquamarine lagoon. Set on stilts and with thatched roofs, the 50 rooms appear to be part of the natural landscape. Reached by a wooden walkway that connects them to the land, you will find the cranes that visit the island often bask in the sun on the walkway. You may prefer to bask on your own private veranda overlooking the sea at the end of the day, relaxing on the deck chairs provided.
Inside, the rooms are spacious and light. The large windows take up much of the wall, offering you a panoramic view of the sea. The walls are covered with soft, woven lily root fabric, and the wood and cane furniture is designed with comfort and elegance in mind. Cheerful print bedspreads and furnishings accentuate the natural feel and setting. A walk in dressing area gives you plenty of room to spread out, and the en suite bathroom is fully equipped with bathtub, shower, WC and wash basin.
Set back from the beach and surrounded by luxuriant vegetation, the Cottage Club' s 30 beach bungalows are set in a garden of exotic flowers, where birds dart to and fro, and call to one another in the palms. Just a few feet away from the beach, all the cottages have beautiful ocean views. A veranda, set with table and chairs right outside the room, provides an ideal place to unwind with a cool drink at the end of the day.
The room itself is decorated in soft muted colours, and the cane and wood furniture is comfortable, the armchairs inviting you to sit back and relax. The big comfortable beds just invite you lie back and drift off at the end of a busy day having fun. The bathrooms are simple and elegant, and are fully equipped with hairdryer, semi-enclosed shower, bathtub and washbasin.
