Getting to Langkawi : Visitors can drive, take a train or fly to Langkawi. Malaysia Airlines flies to the island from most major Malaysian cities. If visitors choose to drive or take a train, they can take a ferry to Langkawi island from any of the following places : Penang, Kuala Kedah and Kuala Perlis.
