Go on a two-hour-drive through the lush and beautiful countryside, rubber trees and paddy fields. Here, nestled in the edge of Sarawak's forest, lies the Bidayuh Longhouse where many families of a tribe live together sharing a long outer communal room and open verandah. Meet the usually barefooted men and shy women who are always busy with their daily shores. Daily activities involve collecting jungle product and hill rice farming. Visit a pepper garden where the pepper vines curl around a wooden post to form a gigantic cone-shaped plant.
