On the Kinabatangan basin (East of Sabah), the riverine forest known to be home of Orang Utans and Proboscis Monkeys, is also the place to see many types of Bornean Hornbills and many other birds.

Day 01
Begin with an introduction to the riverine forest with a visit to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Center. The next stop, two hours away, is the Gomantong Caves. Overnight at Sukau.

Day 02
Enjoy bird watching at Ox Bow Lake. Overnight at Sukau.

Day 03
Enjoy the last day of he trip at leisure until time to return to Sandakan by boat which will take you passing riverside villages and mangroves.
