company. It's safe and comfortable. International car rent company are available
in Krabi town and Ao Nang.
Taxi
Most Taxis in Ao Nang are fixed a price depend on the distance
the fare for Krabi Airport taxi is about 500 baht, Phuket Airport about 1,700 baht, Krabi
town about 400 baht.
Boats Rental to Islands
There are long-tail boats service know as
" Rau Hang Yao" in Thai the minimum fare is 40 bath for a distance
shot trip only. And maximum fare is about 1,500 bath for private boat go to anywhere.
Also there are ferry boat service to phi phi Island, Lanta Island, and Phuket
Island.
Bus to Krabi
The main mode of public transport is by covered pickup
trucks converted in to taxi called "Song Toas". The fare range from 20
bath depending on the distance. The official taxi service time is from 7:00 AM -
18:00 PM. And after that plenty of taxi are available but the price are higher
depending on where you are going and how many people are traveling. It's better
to agree on a price before getting in. A more flexible way would be to rent a
motorcycle at about 250 bath per day or jeep for about 1,500 bath depending on the model
