By Car

Motorway Route:
From Srinakarin Road, drive on the motorway until you reach the second toll station. From there head towards Ban Bueng, onto Klaeng, then Chantaburi, and finally Trat.

Bangna – Trat Route:
This is another simple way of reaching Trat province. Take Highway no.365 directly from Bangna to Chonburi, onwards to Rayong, then Chantaburi, and finally reaching Trat.

Once you arrive in Trat, there are convenient ferry services available at the main wharf for visitors and cars to go to Koh Chang. 

By air

Bangkok Airways flies twice daily from Bangkok to Trat. It should take about 50 minutes time. From airport, easily take minibus or van service to Koh Chang. Updated flight information and booking detail can be checked from www.bangkokair.com or call 1771
 
 By air-conditioned bus

Air-con buses leave to Trat everyday from the Ekkamai Bus Terminal, located on Sukhumvit Road across the street from Soi 63 (Soi Ekkamai) and near the Ekkamai BTS Station. From the Trat bus terminal, simply take a cab or minibus to the ferry pier.

Remark: of your transportation mode you must take the ferry to reach Koh Chang. You can take your car aboard the ferry, which depart from the pier every hour and take approximately 30 minutes to reach the island.
