Amari Emerald Cove Resort is situated on the secluded Klong Prao Beach.

Located 315km south east of Bangkok, this Koh Chang resort is accessible by either an hour’s flight to Trat airport on the mainland, or a 5-hour drive from Bangkok.

Driving Directions from Bangkok to the Ferry Terminals to Koh Chang

• Head out of Bangkok on the Suvarnabhumi Airport - Chonburi Expressway (7)

• At kilometre 89 turn take the exit to Highway 344 – Ban Bueng – Klaeng – Chanthaburi

• Keep driving towards Klaeng on Highway 344. It is 100km long when it ends. Turn left to Chantaburi at the Klaeng intersection.

• Drive approximately 112km from Klaeng and at the 376-kilometre milestone marker you will pass over a bridge (across the River Waru). Here you will pass through the Kao Saming District Police check point.

• About 2km past this point turn right to Laem Kgob at the Ban Saen Toong intersection (opposite a P.T.T. Petrol Station)

• Follow the road for 26km. Do not turn right to the first road indicating Koh Chang Ferry but at the second one located 2 kilometres further.

• Drive for another kilometre and turn right again following the ferry sign.

• The Koh Chang Ferry Pier will be another kilometre further on the left side.

• This ferry will take you to Ao Sapparod Pier in 30 minutes.

• Please note that there is also a car ferry service at Centre Point, but this takes longer and goes to a pier more on the south-east of the island, further away from the resort.

• There is also a passenger only service from Laem Ngob (but this is also quite slow and also goes to Centre Point Pier on Koh Chang).

On Koh Chang, Directions from the Ferry Terminal to Amari Emerald Cove Resort

• When you come off the ferry on the island, turn right and head for Klong Prao Beach

• The Amari Emerald Cove Resort is 15km from the Ao Sapparod Pier and 18km from the Dan Kao Pier

• The resort is on the right 2km after the turn for the Klong Plu waterfall and 300m before Kai Bae Beach
