Samed Cliff Resort is located on Noi-Nha beach, Samet Island, Rayong. The distance from Ban-Phe to Samet Island is approximately 6.5 km., or 30 minute by ferry (or 10 minutes by speed boat).

How to get there :

Bangkok - Ban Phe
The easiest way to get to Ban Phe from Bangkok. You can take the bus from Bangkok at Ekamai station on Sukhumvit road, the ticket counter is on the left hand side when you get in the station (name is Cherd Chai Tour), destination Bagnkok - Ban Phe (Samet Island) is costs 146 Baht/person/trip. Time for departure start from 5.00 am until 8.30 pm. every hour and from Ban Phe, the bus will leave at the Ban Phe station from 4.00 am until 5.00 pm every hour.

The ferry to Samet Island
The ferry to Samet Island leaves from Nuantip pier or Phe pier everyday from 8.00 am. until 6.00 pm. Its takes about 30 minutes to arrive at the center pier of the island (call Nha-dan pier) and cost 120 Baht for roundtrip per person, after that you have to take a Songtaew (local open air taxi) to get to Samed Cliff Resort which take about 10 minutes and cost about 200 Baht per trip.

How to get around the island

Generally walking and Songtaew (local open air taxi) are the main modes of transport. As the island is tiny it's really not a problem. Samet Island has only one road going from north to south with tracks running from it. You can catch a songtaew anywhere along the road and at all the main beaches. Cost for transfer from beach to beach depending on distance and negotiating skills.

The travelling is suitable all year.
