Tour Itinerary:

Visit the handicraft center at Sankampaeng district. The highlight is to see the local people making the handicraft including Lacquerware, Silverware, Hand-woven Textiles by silk and hand-painted cotton, fine Teak Wood Carving, and Umbrellas or paper parasols which are hand-painted in a variety of floral and animal designs.

Delicate shoppers would devote half a day here because there are many shops, showrooms, factories waiting for them to see. Sankampaeng is very famous for its handicrafts which are sold in several shops in this small market town. They range from small items such as jewelry boxes, Saa paper cards, notebooks or other stationery. These are perfect for a gift, which is not only top quality but also ideal for a light traveler. 

For larger housewares and objects, there are a wide range of fabulous baskets in all shapes and sizes; smooth and lustrous vases, jars and bowls; hardwood products; and beautiful porcelains. Yet, if you are thinking a little bit of fashion, you are ready for a Thai traditional-style silks which is woven in rich colors and ready-to-wear creations. There is a wide rang of men's and women's conservative silk fashion, cushions, drapery, ties, and dozen of silk accessories.
