Conferences and Functions - The Canberra Rex Hotel can organise your conference or function for up to 400 people, with a range of rooms to suit your requirements. We have a boardroom on each level of the hotel, a Ballroom and a Conference Room along with an Exhibition Centre. We cater for intimate, one on one meetings, to large formal dinners for up to 200 people.

We will consider any requests and our team of experienced professionals are able to assist with any arrangements.

The Canberra Rex Hotel function centre is ideal for your next business meeting, seminar, conference, exhibition, awards night or birthday party and can cater for 10-300 guests in one of our many venues.

Our function rooms include:

The Ballroom - With 1960's charm, the ballroom features a marble backdrop as well as a skydome and bar. The ballroom can cater for up to 250 guests and is ideal for large parties, conferences, award evenings or trade fairs.

The Boardroom & Meeting Rooms - Located on each floor of the hotel, our 2 meeting rooms & 2 boardrooms can each cater for up to 10 guests. Perfect for small meetings, hire also includes freshly brewed tea & coffee and a selection of snacks.

The Northbourne Room - For people serious about business, the display room is ideal for retail sales and auctions. Past clients include jewellery liquidators, frame sales, computer fairs, ski sales and phycic expos. Located on the corner of Northbourne Avenue & Ipima street this prominant location is sure to attract the passing city traffic.

The Pool Deck - For a relaxing, casual venue, the pool deck features a bar and dining area in a well-lit atrium. The pool deck can cater for up to 90 people.

• Canberra Rex Hotel - Enjoy a superb meal in Millie's A-La-Carte Restaurant and Bar and a sumptuous buffet breakfast.
  
  
• Millie's A la Carte Restaurant is open from 6pm every evening and has a good range of reasonably priced, delicious offerings, along with a wide selection of the finest quality wines. During the day meals are available from room-service or on the Pool deck.
  
  
• Canberra Rex Hotel - Millie's Bar is open from 5 pm onwards every day of the year. Come and enjoy a drink in Millie's intimate atmosphere, or relax under the skydome by the Pool. Beverages and snacks are also available during the day from Reception.
