Getting to Sukhothai  - Sukhothai is served by several bus lines operating from Bangkok and beyond. The travel time from Bangkok ranges between four to seven hours, depending on the type of bus. Bus is the most inexpensive way to get to Sukhotthai.

There is no train station in Sukhothai, but Phitsanulok, the city to the southeast is a transportation center with a passenger station and regular bus service to Sukhothai. Air transportation to Sukhothai, requires transport from the airport in Phitsanulok.
