Some best buys include the printed cotton and silk fabric called Khommaphat, woman’s accessories, antique and art, house wares made of coconut shells, handicrafts, dried seafood, pineapples, coconuts, and a variety of processed fruits. The famous night market is located in the centre of Hua-Hin town and is open every evening.

Hua Hin Beach offers a spectacular beach with a picturesque backdrop of approaching hills. From here, you can get a pleasant scene of nature and friendly people. In the early morning, you can see a brilliant sunrise, and the pleasant sight of fishermen plying their trade at the pier. There are also numerous beach activities catered to tourists, including banana boating, parasailing and more. Horse riding on the beach is also a pleasant experience.
- Khao Tao stands about 13 kilometers south of Hua Hin. The hill can be reached by Petchkasem Road, There are two clean, beautiful, and secluded beaches which are good for relaxing, Sai Noi Beach and Sai Yai Beach (meaning “small” and “large” beach). Additionally, there is a large reservoir with fresh water all year round. It is known as the first Royal Development Project of its kind; King Rama IX, the present king, initiated the building of this reservoir with his own money in order to provide water for the villagers in his area who are in short supply of fresh water.
- Khao Takiab is located in the south most area of Hua Hin Beach, about ten kilometers from the town center. - Khao Krilas lies only a short distance behind Khao Takiab. The area boasts a beautiful and elaborate chapel over looking the mountain.
- Khao Hin Lek Fai is the outstanding viewpoint of the Hua-Hin town and coast, providing a picturesque panorama of Hua Hin, especially in the early morning.
- Pa La U Waterfall is situated in the densely verdant forest in the area of Kaengkrajan National Park. The surrounding area is teemed with various kinds of vegetation. The proper time for visiting the falls is from November to April when the falls is at its most beautiful.
- Maruekkhathayawan Palace is one of the most attractive royal palaces in Thailand, located 15 kilometers in the northern area of Hua Hin. The palace was constructed at the command of King Rama VI in 1923 to be his holiday residence. It is completely made of Golden teak and was fashioned in the Thai-Victorian style.
- Hua Hin Railway Station used to be the most beautiful station in Thailand. The outstanding feature of the station is the pavilion construction; it was originally named as “Plub Pla Sanamchan” at Sanamchan Palace in the Nakorn Prathom province. It was built in the reign of King Rama VI in order to welcome the King and his entourage. Behind the Railway Station to the west stands the Royal Hua Hin Golf Course, the first ever in Thailand.
- Fisherman’s Pier is the place where you can appreciate the lifestyle of the local people. Wora Bura Resort & Spa - In the morning, there are many fishermen unloading their catch at the pier. Additionally, you can get a picturesque view of the sea with boats coming in or going out.
- Chat Chai Market is an old and famous market in Hua Hin, located on the edge of Petchkasem Road. It was built at the command of King Rama VII with a concrete structure under the seven-curved-roofs which symbolizes King Rama VII. Nowadays, it is the trading place of products as well as fresh and dried foods.
- Hua Hin Night Market represents the colorful nightlife in Hua Hin, and is a hub of a wide range of typical local food, sea food, and dessert. Souvenirs are also sold here.
- Klai Kangwon Palace is one of the most attractive sites in Hua Hin. This palace was erected at the command of King Rama VII in 1926 to be his summer palace. The building was built in Spanish style architecture with a fa?ade overlooking the sea. Its name means “Far from Worries.” Nowadays, the palace is still the favorite summer retreat for the present king, H.M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej and his royal family. The king used the palace as the head office during his development projects in Hua Hin as well as the surrounding districts. The palace is open to the public so long as the Royal family is not in residence.
