Pranburi is about 25 kilometers (16mi) from Hua-Hin. There are several beach resorts ranging from budget to five stars in privately peaceful atmosphere. South of Pranburi is the Kao Sam Roi Yot (meaning three hundred peaks) National Park in the rugged limestone hills. These are full of ravines and caverns some of which can be reached by the park’s network of roads and trails. It has a very bountiful mangrove forest. Pranburi was once over a long period of time overshadowed by Hua-Hin, its neighboring town.
