DAY 1 ARRIVE VIENTIANE Upon arrival in Lao at Wattay Airport or Thai-Lao Bridge, meet and transfer to the hotel in Vientiane. Sightseeing around the city visiting That Luang (1566), the revered Wat Prakeo (1565), Wat Sisaket, and the Arch Monument. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 2 VIENTIANE-LUANGPRABANG Breakfast Take the domestic flight to the ancient capital of Luangprabang and transfer to the hotel for lunch. Afternoon sightseeing around this charmful royal city. Dinner.

| DAY 3 LUANGPRABANG Breakfast. Full day excursion by boat along the Mekong River to the holy cave temple of Pak-Ou, situated in the cliff overlooking the river. Hundreds of antique Buddha images can be found. Lunch en-route. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 4 LUANGPRABANG-VIENTIANE Breakfast. Visit the National Museum, the former Royal Palace located besides the Mekong River. Lunch. Fly back to Vientiane. Excursion to the Weaving Village where you can see the breeding of silkworms and traditional weaving in most of the houses. Dinner.
DAY 5 VIENTIANE-XIENGKOUANG Breakfast. Transfer to airport for flight to Phonsavanh in XiengKouang, an area of wide plateaux and mountain. Lunch. Afternoon, excursion to the Muang Khoune, the former capital city of Xieng Khouang and visit remnants of temples, palaces, stupas, etc. Dinner.
DAY 6 VIENTIANE-XIENGKOUANG Breakfast. Visit the amazing “Plain of Jars” where countless pots of jars in various sizes scattered all over the area with unknown origin. Then excursion to Muang Kham. Tour to Tham Piou, a historic cave used during the war and continue to a hot underground spring which flows into river near-by. Visit Ban Thachok, a tribal H’mong Village, where one can touch the charm and gentle smiles of ethnic villagers. You can see their daily life and customs. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 7 XIENGKOUANG-VIENTIANE Breakfast. Visit the market in the morning and fly back to Vientiane. Lunch. Afternoon, sightseeing around the Vientiane surroundings. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 8 VIENTIANE DEPARTURE Breakfast. You are free at leisure for your own exploration of the city. Transfer to Wattay Airport or to Thai-Lao Friendship Bridge.
