DAY 1 ARRIVE VIENTIANE Upon arrival in Lao at Wattay Airport or Thai-Lao Bridge, meet and transfer to the hotel in Vientiane. Sightseeing around the city visiting That Luang (1566), the revered Wat Prakeo (1565), Wat Sisaket, and the Arch Monument. Dinner and overnight. DAY 2 VIENTIANE-LUANG PRABANG Breakfast Take the domestic flight to the ancient capital of Luang Prabang and transfer to the hotel for lunch. Afternoon sightseeing around this charmful royal city. Dinner. DAY 3 LUANG PRABANG Breakfast. Full day excursion by boat along the Mekong River to the holy cave temple of Pak-Ou, situated in the cliff overlooking the river. Hundreds of antique Buddha images can be found. Lunch en-route. Dinner.
DAY 4 LUANG PRABANG - VIENTIANE Breakfast. Visit the National Museum, the former Royal Palace located besides the Mekong River. Lunch. Fly back to Vientiane. You are free to explore this charmful city on your own. Dinner and overnight. |
