DAY 1 VIENTIANE-LUANGPRABANG Upon arrival in Lao at Wattay Airport or Thai-Lao Bridge, meet and transfer to the domestic airport for flight to Luangprabang. Check in at hotel and sightseeing around this charmful royal city. Dinner and overnight. DAY 2 LUANGPRABANG Breakfast. Full day excursion by boat along the Mekong River to the holy cave temple of Pak-Ou, situated in the cliff overlooking the river. Hundreds of antique Buddha images can be found. Lunch en-route. Dinner. DAY 3 LUANGPRABANG-VIENTIANE Breakfast. Visit the National Museum, the former Royal Palace located besides the Mekong River. Lunch. Fly back to Vientiane. Excursion around the city. Dinner and overnight. |
