| DAY 2 CHIANGMAI (B) Breakfast. Visit one of the most sacred temple of
the North - Wat Prathat Doi Suthep, built on hilltop in Northern-Thai style and
containing holy relic of Lord Buddha and enjoy seeing panoramic view of the whole city. In
the afternoon, tour to the famous Handicraft Village known as Home
Industries, where you can see local skills in silk weaving, wood carving, silver
and lacquerware making and the making of colorful paper umbrellas.
DAY
3 CHIANGMAI - CHIANGRAI & GOLDEN TRIANGLE (B,L)
Breakfast. By road from Chiangmai to Chiangrai in the morning, passing
through scenic hills and jungles. Visit hilltribe villages of Akha and Yao, and
continue to archaeological site of Chiangsaen. Lunch. Visit the world-famous region
of Golden Triangle and the Maesai Border where Thailand, Laos, and Burma
meets. Return to Chiangmai.
DAY 4 CHIANGMAI DEPARTURE (B)
Breakfast. Morning tour to the Elephant
Working Site in the forest to see how big elephants are used in hauling logs. Continue
to the beautiful Orchid Farm. Afternoon free at
leisure for shopping. Transfer from hotel to the airport or train station for taking
air-conditioned sleeper train to Bangkok (Arrive next morning).
