Travelling around the city is fast and cheap using the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) passenger train service. Buses cover many routes and are slower than the MRT. The SLRT is another option this is an automated rapid transit system and there is about 8km of track with 14 stations and the track is all elevated – so it’s an interesting experience for many tourists. Taxis are a simple way to get around the city.
