Singapore is a tiny island-country yet it is known to be one of the world’s most prosperous and wealthy countries. At first glimpse, Singapore appears to be shockingly modern largely emphasized by its skyscrapers but underneath the squeaky clean surface and the skyline, this country holds rich Asian traditions with a delightful blend of majority populations and culture of Chinese, Malay and Indian. What bring the city to life are the contrasts of modern and traditional living. Singapore offers a taste of its modern and affluent city along with its vibrant nightlife scene, its ultimate lush tropical climate and a great shopping paradise while the sight of old Asian charm is prevalent. This self proclaimed Garden City makes an incredible holiday destination and a great jumpstart into the region.
